Are you looking for a better end user experience and to improve efficiency? Here are a few ways our clients are building online applications that integrate directly into Salesforce:
- Web2Lead – If you’re using the lead object to capture an online application, it’s easy and free to generate an “Online” or HTML version of those fields. This will create a raw HTML form that you can engage your current web development company to easily incorporate into your website. You can then setup alerts and assignment rules for people to be notified when leads are received.
- Salesforce has an informative article that provides more details on how to accomplish website leads for your sales teams.
- A form builder – There are several out there, but we’ve primarily used two form builders: One is called FormSite and the other is FastForms. They are both good products that integrate with Salesforce well. FormSite is a little more affordable at ~$25/mo. vs. ~$30/mo. Although both allow uploading documents, FastForms can integrate these documents back into Salesforce.
- Salesforce Sites – You would use Salesforce sites if you were looking to build a truly unique experience for your partners or borrowers. This is a free ad-on with your Enterprise Sales Cloud subscription. Our clients have used Sites to build dynamic pricing portals, online applications, and as an interface to e-sign their documents.
- Salesforce Communities – This is an “ad-on” product by Salesforce. You would use Salesforce Communities if you require users to logon. Our clients have used Communities to build robust broker/dealer, customer self-service, and online payment portals.
